The complete CBCS manga census.

Every figure on this page is a direct read of the CBCS Population Report, recorded in a single session on July 30, 2026, exactly as the report displayed it. Nothing is modeled, averaged, or estimated. A blank grade means zero slabs on file, not missing data. We logged the original Japanese first-print entry for each grail (Shueisha, Kodansha, Shogakukan, Hakusensha, Square Enix), not English or foreign editions. Where CBCS splits a book across printings, we recorded the first-printing entry and noted the splits. Two honest limits carry through the whole set. First, the census counts what was graded, not what survives: a one-slab entry means almost nobody submitted the book, not that one copy exists. Second, CBCS’s own label vocabulary is inconsistent (some books carry both a “1st Edition” and a separate “1st Printing” entry); where that happens we logged the entries separately rather than merge them on a guess. One-Punch Man had no Japanese entry at all, which we report as an absence rather than explain away.
